going to learn a backflip this weekend, can someone tell me what he did wrong? It kind of looks like he was leaning too far back on his take off but I’m not sure.

It's all in the hips and he didn't have his hips in the flip on that one. Pop and bring them into the spin as you start to look back for your landing

He didnt push his hips or pull his legs through after he popped. If you see he starts to flail and his legs turn sideways, it's because it's all limp. Gotta engage your core to pull it together and flip around the hips.
