Can I go to Mt.Hood if im just learning park?

You can ski any park if it’s your first year, it also seems like mt hood caters to all levels of skiing. Don’t be intimidated to try something new especially if experienced skiers are watching. Most of them are probably friendly aswell.

No, they hook you up to a lie detector and interview you about your history of skiing and if you fail they take your ticket and piss on it right in front of you.

Honestly timberline has the best array of parks ranging from beginner to expert I’ve ever seen, go skiing and have fun. Fuck whoever says otherwise

Sure, just look for the "small" park.

Always start small. Little by little.

Bachelor has an awesome "small" AKA progression park.
7 minute video, but this is what you want to start with stuff.

100% yes. Went there by myself in Spring 2019 and improved massively within just a couple of weeks. Felt a bit self-conscious at first, as I knew I sucked at park and the standard of skiing there is so high, but you quickly learn that nobody gives af and everyone is just there to enjoy skiing (and get high af of course). Ended up tagging along with a few guys there who were pretty fucking sick and had an absolute blast! GO NOW!

How would you say doing an actual windells session compares to just doing the public access thing through timberline?

It depends on adult camp(21+) vs regular camp(8-20) and how good of a skier you are. I think camp is super fun. I never was a camper but worked there for a couple years. I think if you’re an established skier and understand the basics, you can do without. But if you’re newer then it might be better to get coached at camp. If you’re 17 and under, definitely camp. 18-20 is tough because you’re in kids camp technically but it’s still super fun. Adult camp is sick lol but I’d only recommend it for some people 21+

Gotcha thanks. Yeah I’m 19, can spin up to 5s and still kinda getting my rail game together so I’d def have fun either way but I’m sure some coaching could go a long ways lol. I just looked at their website and it looks like session 4 they’re doing an 18+ adult sesh so that could be cool. Idk, I’m just kinda broke rn so you know how that goes but I’ve always wanted to go since I was like 10 haha

Do it! There aren't that many spots left and get to it while flights are still decent.
I just signed up for Session 4 and I'm still a beginner even though this isn't my first year...For adults this year its $2499..and youth its $2299 for the all inclusive overnight version . $1699 for the coaching only
Plane ticket from MSP to PDX was $400 round trip after taxes and insurance
It sure is expensive. But from what I hear its worth it for the experience and adventure. I've been getting squirrelly. I haven't gone on a big trip in a couple years thanks to the whole situation going on. I usually travel at least once a year.
