Replying to Wack Ski Shop
So I work at "X" company and applied to be a ski tech or at least in winter sports sales. They told me "we don't have any open positions, but we can hire you as a cashier for $Y/hr." Me being poor and paying rent, utilities, etc. and having online classes, I took the part time job. Fast forward, they're consistently understaffed in that department, and floor staff quickly realized that I'm literally the most qualified boot fitter and can talk ski the best in store. Months later, I've got my earpiece in, hear a question "Got a customer with 97mm waist skis. Do I recommend 100mm or 115mm brake bindings?" Shop tech answers "Definitely 115mm." God I hate my store.
TLDR: Don't shop big box retail, shop small business.
