Could i ski with a missing edge

I asked a on3p rep and he said its fine for a few times but i just wanna see if anyone has a story that says otherwise. Im paranoid about fucking up the core with water.

Im planning on it, but the customer service guy sent out a kit and while i wait for it to come i have to use them for work.

fix as soon as you can until then you should be fine and dandy as long you seal that off with epoxy

I think as long as you dry the ski after using (bring a rag to get excess water and snow off) then you should be fine until the kit delivers

ive ski'd the majority of my life on skis with missing edges. Youll be good.

I rode 1 and 1/2 seasons on Salomon suspects back in the day with a tonne of edge missing. Still use those skis for the occasinol handrail today.

I won’t retire a ski until 50% if it’s edge content is no longer in the ski, you’re fine just put epoxy in the crack to keep water out and all you’ll notice is it becomes harder and harder to ski as the edge comes out. It’s really just personal preference when a ski has “too little” edge to be skied.

Skiing with no edge underfoot is the MOVE. Rails are never sticky unless it’s shitty metal and the rail is dry. Otherwise everything is greasy, especially in weird conditions like when there’s a microscopic layer of ice on the rails

lmao ive skied my edgless wet for about 30 days now. core might be getting a little soggy cause there super super flexy now and don't have much pop. e

How many times did you use them before the core got soggy? Like 5?

they arnt bad tho, still got pop
