never had a pair but ive never heard of somebody disliking a pair, they def weigh more but they aren't heavy, they just feel burly which can actually be a good thing. the weight is there to help you.

They're fun. I don't have any problems buttering around and throwing tricks on mine. They wouldn't be my first choice for a park ski but I have no issues squeaking spins around. I've used them in tight trees and moguls and had no issues with the length. They can charge pretty hard and the bases are bombproof if you ride over any rocks on the way down. Overall I would definitely recommend them if you ski in the mountain west. You really can't go wrong with ON3P

Yes I was thinking 181s thing is theyre actually lighter than my current skis. I feel like I’ll get along with them. I do a lot of hard charging in the west coast in Colorado and Utah. I think I’ll like them a lot.

Love mine. If you're already used to spinning a heavier ski then I really don't think you'll find a downside. All the pluses of a heavier, solid ski outweigh the increased swing weight in my opinion. I find it smooths out my spins nicely but they're noticeably more effort and slower to come around than my other sticks. Depends on how fast and how much you want to spin.

Unpopular opinion:

I really like them except for the mount point, would rather be at around -2.5 and I wouldn’t have any complaints. The float, they bust through crud, they got rocker, they’re durable. What more can you ask?

If you’ll spend much time in the park then mount them like +1cm. They’re awesome skis

If you're used to skis that aren't super light, I think you'll be fine for tricks like backies up to 7's. They're on the heavier side as far as 100-110 mm freestyle skis go, but it makes them extremely stable on landings, able to bust through crud, and (imo) very confidence inspiring as they don't get bucked around. I bought them because I was looking for the most stability/charginess I could find in a 100-110 mm freestlye ski. Also durability :) Have had my og Kartel 108's for 5 years, 2 core shots (both from skiing way too low tide shit), no edges and topsheet issues, overall in great shape 5 years strong

I'm 5'11" 160 and ride a 181, been on the Kartel/Jeff 108 since they first changed from the 106 (5 seasons i think?) I never wish for more or less length. If u got any other questions I'm happy to help
