HypeBeastJust threw out my back in some moguls on my 3rd run. Fuck me. This has never happened to me in my entire life and it was like lightning all in my lumbar spine.
SavageBiffMy wife had to tie my work boots for me for several months, all I’d done was some minor horseplay on trampoline with my kids 🤷🏼♂️, spent my live bmx, blading vert and street, skiing, lifting and out of the blue got locked down, mainly all better now but hamstrings tight and so is lower back 100% of the time
SavageBiffhamstrings tight and so is lower back 100% of the time
Poikenzchild's pose, cat/ cow, seated hamstring stretch- crossing arms to opposite leg and pigeon pose for tightness. Couple them with proper lifts with a good hip hinge and possibly isolated core/ glute exercises if you feel there is some sort of weakness that is leaving your lower back venerable and you will be good to go in a couple months.
SuspiciousFishJust wait until you throw out your back getting off the couch. Then you will REALLY feel old lol

theabortionatorI turned to grab something in the cat the other night and tweaked ny backm RIP young spine
SavageBiffIs there a lotta physical labor in your work, or did you in the past? I tend to get injured more during the winter when I’m not working and things get “ too loose “
theabortionatorNot really. I did help a coworker get car unstuck and push into parking spot. Mostly job = "big machine go brrrr".
I've done a ton of physical labor before have fucked up back at work and over shit the fuck out of jump once and smoked vertebrae and femur.
Was more just an "old man turns to do something, ends up injured" type deal.
Machine's arent generally great for back life though
SavageBiffRoger that , been in a track loader, farm equip, etc since I was 14, I look what I think is young and healthy but man I feel 60 and abused.
OnederfulI'm a senior in high school. Have been a competitive trampoline person my entire life, coach gymnastics for a job. And yet I still have hurt my back doing regular things more than the sport that is supposed to hurt your back. I think I have had building back pain from scoliosis, but I also work at a pizza place and destroyed by back last night throwing dough in the air. Fuck I need to stretch more.
SavageBiffMan I used to work at a pizza place , making dough, then making hundreds of individual dough balls and then hand tossing and spinning large #of pizzas is a shoulder workout. Know two hairdresers who have had shoulder surgery from cutting hair, and a concrete finisher same deal, worries I may be in that boat
OnederfulAt least I have someone that will back me up on throwing dough being a workout. When you go through 300-400 pizzas yourself, it becomes one hell of a shoulder and back strain.
Jerry.at.tricksMoguls are for old people anyways.
HypeBeast+k but this statement tells me all I need to know about the terrain you ski 😁

SavageBiffI’d bet piste
I love moguls but I kinda treat them as jumps, hips aren’t what they once where
Jerry.at.tricksI’d bet you’re wrong haha
Jerry.at.tricksI live in Alaska bud. That should tell you all you need to know about what I ski.
skeirmanwhoa you ride bIG MoUnTaIn!?!?!
Biffbarflmao poor kid doesn't realize 40 year old dads skiing ice bumps on the east coast will probably waste his ass in good snow
Jerry.at.tricksDoubtful lol
stickypenBro it's ok just maybe try and learn to ski some moguls
Jerry.at.tricksI’d bet you’re wrong haha
SavageBiffI’d bet no one here cares, especially without an edit I bet no one believes you, and I bet that no matter how good you may be, there are those so good they make you like like a jerry and I’d bet that there will always be someone better, way better, and I bet there are many many people that are waaay more fun to watch, and I bet they are waaay cooler to talk to and ski with, I’d also bet that most of us will have a great deal of fun skiing no matter how you view us. And, I’d bet, if I lived in Alaska, I would never have time to post on here, and finally, I’d bet, no I’m sure, that there is no way in hell you could ever sit at the table I make bets at 😉
Jerry.at.tricksYet here you are... taking time to write a novel as a response. I see I have gotten under your skin a bit. Cheers!
T.L.Scorpion'd in the landing of a tree tap I was hitting a few years back. It actually fixed my back ache at the time. The amount of pops and cracks I heard sounded like driving over bubble wrap.
SavageBiffI imagine at your level of education that 10 second retort seemed like a novel.
nope not under me skin just proving a point, that your a doosch , no edit huh? Hmph... no surprise ✌🏼
HypeBeastDamn this got heated quickly. So Alaska kid, are all the runs at your mountain smooth or what? Cuz I have yet to see any advanced or expert terrain that doesn't at some point end in moguls or trees (which also kinda have moguls) before you reach the lift.
cadevisi ran into a tree the other day kinda unrelated just wanted to say something
Pipe_MunkyWait until you throw your back out just sneezing...
HypeBeastHow's ur face?
