Black Crow CAMOX - Mounting Point suggestions...Hey

Hey All,
Have a new pair of Camox on the way to the crib and starting to consider two things: 1. Binding choice and 2. Mounting point

I have a pair of J Skis with Look Pivots and love them, however, when I asked BC to suggest bindings they recommend they only suggested Market and Salomon. Do you think certain bindings work better or worse on a particular ski?

In terms of mount points, just looking for any insight here vs going with the center line? These skis will spend more time on the groomers and being playful than they will in powder FYI.

I seem to read so many opinions, which has be just as uncertain as I did before researching. So if you have found any specific changes with mounting, let me just thank yow now in advance for sharing!

Not sure about mount points but there aren't any bindings optimized for certain skis. If you like your pivots put some on the new skis. Marker and Salomon make good bindings but people here will recommend pivots 9/10 times. I'm a tyrolia attack guy but pivots are fasho very good bindings.

I think it makes it a little more versatile in all mountain conditions and if you run into a little pow. I've had 3 prs. of Camox's. Best all around ski ever.

go 2.5 from true center. will ride a lot better than dead center if youre taking the whips outta the park

How much will you ski & land switch? what are your previous skis and mounts?

Thanks man for the suggestions! 👍🏼. 5'10" and 155lb. Always mounted at manufacturer suggestion on Volkl RM85, Rossi SIN7 and JSki's Metal. All are 180CMs, including the BC Camox. I wish I could say I will land switch all the time, but that just isn't the case lol. I am most often just catching some altitude on jumps and transitions, and keeping the spins on flat ground, or off of rails. Overall this will be used far more on groomers, park and occasional powder given the J Skis are on hand for a big powder day / trip.

Yup -2.5 seems like the move. I've had my camox mounted at recommended as well as +2 (which would be back 5 from dead center I believe). I might even get them mounted a 3rd time at 2.5 back from center since I found myself wanting more stability in the air and less swing weight after not skiing them for a couple of seasons. It's such a fun ski, enjoy man.

stock is -7 ish, for what your describing and still ski good -5 would probably be good, your fairly light, so at -4 Im guessing you can still drive the shovels. but. black crows wouldnt reccomend more forward than -5
