assfvkrAfter a long year of strong racial tensions I feel like the skiing community has a long way to go in being more inclusive to poc. I have noticed snowboarding has been somewhat more inclusive than skiing but still not quite to the mark that most of us are comfortable with. I think skiing has a unique opportunity to be more appealing to poc with the skiing sensation that is mango. He is extremely talented and only a glimpse of what could be if our beloved sport was more diverse. I really wish that on3p would capitalize on the what they have. Countless white skiers have a pro model ski that are far less deserving, and unfortunately I think that may not be a coincidence. Magnus is very talented and great to watch in films but it feels so much more appropriate to just give the pro model to mango and just give magnus his topsheet. Think about how impactful that would be to poc to finally be represented in a sport that is extremely overrepresented by whites.
SessionMost pro-model ski's are a topsheet. You are really overthinking this.
Christian_BaleI personally think the best way to make skiing more inclusive would be to lower the cost barriers to skiing. Historically, most skiers have been affluent white people, and i think you have less people joining the sport these days cuz it's generally so expensive. If skiing was cheaper and easier to get into, i think we'd see a lot more non-white people take up skiing. imo giving promodels to certain skiers would have a less significant impact
assfvkrI think the cost to get started is definitely an issue no matter what color you are forsure. So i agree with you on that. However i have seen conservatively 5× the amount of snowboarders of color than i have skiers of color. And im not sure if that has to do with entry costs. I think a skier of color with there own pro model would go a long way in changing poc's perception of the sport. Mango hands down should have a pro model there is zero debate there. I get that he has a topesheet but its on a ski called magnus. Idk just bothers me knowing we could be doing more

skeirmanYou have to be really fucking stupid to not understand WHY there are more "people of color" in snowboarding. Like literally fucking dumb as a board. And you'd have to be equally as stupid to think Mango not having a ski is because on3p is racist. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.
grantlewis_dntmski brands and mountains do not give a single fuck what color your skin is as long as you are buying their product and providing them revenue. why do you care if there are more black snowboarders than skiers?
Heres a question for you, what's stopping a black person from starting to ski? are mountains not allowing black people on the mountain? do shops not rent gear to black people?
WisconsinDogfartkidnapping black people rn and forcing them to ski

Skiblade420make the statement that he should get his own pro model separate from the magnus’s. Make the point that we need to have more independent ski company’s popping up that endorse more poc. That there should be more programs for poc.
What you suggested is a super toxic ideology because your ideas focus on tearing others down to raise someone else up.
You need to try to bring everyone up together and make an actually positive impact that doesn’t come at the cost of others.
ericformanI think a tax on destination skiers with the money being put to building and maintaining hike to parks with cheap gear rentals in consistently cold cities like the south or west side of Chicago
assfvkrWhere exactly did I write that on3p was racist?
LonelyLets work on making skiing one big group of skiers, not a bunch of groups of skiers that have to be considered separate because of their skin color.
MiIfHunterI’d like to see more white chicks get dicked down by black men, I liked it when tiger woods was dicking down Lindsey Vonn. I think he tore her a third asshole
ASAPCarterAnybody have a list of some of these programs/events to get poc kids on the snow? Honestly sounds like a great idea and I’d love to help if there’s something out west near me.
WormracerSpent the last hour looking and sending emails. If you know any send me a DM.
bogustI agree, poc helmets are very under represented in the wider sport of skiing. Lots of racers where them but there stack in the freeskiing market is quit small.
