Looking at getting the Bent Chetler 120's for coastal BC powder days. Would be used for a lot of tight tree runs on powder days. Currently using 178 Salomon QST's. Having a tough time deciding between 176 and 184. I'm pretty light (5'8 135lbs). Leaning towards the 176 for easier maneuvering in the trees, is this too short?
Honestly either would be a great option but if you’re coming from a 178 I would probably go bigger (184). I have the 192’s but I’m 6’4” and 190 lbs. these things are so light you won’t feel any swing weight from the extra length.
poofartpeeWhere are you going to mount them? How freestyle oriantated is your ski style?
Probably mount them 1 or 2 cm back since the mount point is so forward. I'm pretty mellow these days, not going to be landing switch off anything big but would like the ski to be quite playful for smaller stuff.
Now that the 2022s are hitting the stores, does anyone know when the next year's line goes for sale on Atomic's website? The site still has the 2021s on it.
Ayo I ride the 176s and I’m like 5’8 120 and I find them really easy to maneuver between the trees and around the mountains. Lmk if u have any other questions about the ski!
