No, it is because it is nice to be able to add something later, or a photo, or revise something you realize you didn't do a good job of explaining the first time. Funny this is lost on you...a mod.
I'm only on a few forums but I've never not been able to edit posts, or delete posts entirely. I don't think anyone here would disagree with me.
eheathlol bro you take the internet way too seriously. NS used to never have the ability to edit posts, I'm assuming you didn't read bgillis comment, but we only added editing for BST, it was never meant to be implemented across the site. Now that BST isnt in the forums, we changed it back. If you need something changed you can PM a mod.
