I mean the adjustability of the heel piece, in order to accommodate different boot lengths. Jesters have about 20mm of movement, meaning you can potentially adjust them for a range of 3 boot sizes (like, 26.5, 27.5 and 28.5 will fit) without remounting the ski. There are obviously exceptions to this, depending on boot brand, size, and other things. With Pivots, you can usually adjust them about 1 size up or 1 size down, but it’s a huge pain to do so and many times it ends up being a remount. That being said, if you have 1 boot that you’re planning on sticking with, they’re good bindings. Expensive, but they’re good. After I broke 2 this season I don’t see myself buying any more but it could’ve been a multitude of reasons why mine broke, and not at all necessarily the bindings fault.
