WoFlowzCan we get like reverse camber park skis like a hellbent but like 100-110 I’d buy that
I've chalked up a rocker and sidecut profile in autocad for a ski like that but I don't think you can do a full rocker park ski or balancing on rails could be unnecessarily hard. Hellbents are also not quite full rocker, I think Vishnus have about the same rocker profile

You make a good point with the rail thing. Ig it will have to have some camber
Respectfully disagree on this one. A little camber with extreme tip rocker goes a long way. can't speak on performance tho never ridden a full rocker ting

What OP meant is just skis with a lot of rocker, as opposed to skis that are basically full camber with early rise tips and tails. So that counts

Guess the arg image threw me off, my bad. Anyway, point still stands:
Biffbarfwhatchu mean? Never been on magnuses so idk but they seem close on paper in profile besides one being slightly more directional
Idk man they don't feel anything like even the 102's, I got mine center mounted and im fighting the side cut every time I turn so I can't really judge the best
Armada Vjj's 171 with 100 effective. 10 meter radius. Look cool, Sagina liked them, but no big deal.
Still in better than new condition. Maybe sell them someday.

Those bases look beautiful. I wish I lived in Oregon so I could pay you to tune my skis
I dont know why you would prefer skis that handle like shit in any condition besides powder, just to get ppl to think your based. Jeez you must be desperate for some poon.
at a certain point it becomes too much rocker.
then u just look like an idiot poser trying to convince ppl ur based
Lol and people have the nerve to say that Vishnu’s have no usable edge

The old Armada Alpha 1s are the coolest looking skis. The really odd tip/tail geometry and the rocker on such a skinny ski was so different at the time.

I wanted a set of halo/alpha 1s so bad. Elf shoe technology!

I would buy a pair in a heartbeat if they remade the original skinny Halo/Alpha shape. If Armada ever reads this, please make that ski again. I DO NOT WANT FUCKING BDOGS

I had to shave off a very deep structure. Came with nice grind, but way too deep for powder or fresh snow.
Took a bit of work, but they are fast now for sure!
I say better than new because of the base and edge tune they have now.

I've never ridden them but I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't that great, only because of the kinda extreme geometry. Like the JJs were originally like that and they've kinda mellowed out. Less rocker, less elf shoe, slightly longer turn radius and less compressed sidecut. I've ridden early and later JJs and the new ones are arguably better in every way. I think what happens when you modernize the alpha ones is more or less a slight tip and tail taper, bit of rocker bit of camber park ski.

Do you have any 3 hour YouTube tutorials for that base grind?

This is the surface odyssey. I have them in 108's and they smash
