galardogodI haven’t been a fan of Henrick’s style. While I have an appreciation for it. I just don’t get down with the new wave. I say that with no hate in my heart towards it. Tom’s OG 4bi9 heavy hitting after banging straight gangster shit just gets me fired up.
Monsieur_Patatehuh, Henrik new wave? I think you're confusing Henrik with someone else my dude.
SlitherySnakeTom is definitely the foundation for all current freestyle skiing
combatgoon17watch the blackout movie, street segments pretty much same as the bunch, just baggier and 10 years ago
nolan_yagerwallisch. no one will ever touch his landings. I first saw this edit when I was pretty young and I could not even comprehend the both way 2p6 ender.

270on420outWallisch back in the day was untouchable. I hate to say it but although he is still an amazing skier, his style has been kinda generic since he made it big.
jakeordieGiven the way he became the leader and the spokesperson for the movement, it kinda had to be that way. It fell on him to represent newschool skiing to both the mainstream audience and the old guard of the ski industry. I think he found a great balance between being steezy af and yet still presentable enough to the traditional skiing community that they let their kids follow his lead into the park and the streets. Guys like Henrik get to take their style out into left field because guys like Tom kept it closer to center.
270on420outAgreed, I’m not hating on Tom at all for doing so. At the end of the day I think it’s an apples to oranges comparison. Tom was a prominent superunkown winner turned 4bi9 legend and eventually evolved into a competition dominator. He was an Olympic contender before his tragic ACL tear. He spent his prime years during a period of time which could arguably be called the golden years of competition skiing. Henrik is 4 years younger and was the legendary breakout star grom from Sweden and although he has multiple X-games medals under his belt (which is just a testament to how good he is), he has always been less competition based than Tom.
BradFiAusNzCoCaTom has amazingly smooth style. Like fuck he literally makes landings look stupid easy. Henrik gets me hyped because he’s kind of more of an active style - like it looks like he’s doing more - whereas Tom is just so smooth. (Don’t know if I described this how I meant)
But on top of this - I really like the ez_panda guys style and how it’s obviously from Henrik with its own flavor
FruitBootProTom's style is more lazy, Henrik's is more flowy. I prefer Henrik's but nobody does it like Tom either
