Upgrading to pivot 18 toe piece from 14's to use CAST

What up everyone. I currently ride a pair of ON3P Kartel 96's with a pair of pivot 14's and I've been using daymakers to get some skin laps in while the lifts are shut down. Yesterday my daymakers tragically snapped (after only 4 rides) and I'm now looking into new options. Ive been looking into possible getting a cast tour system and if its a viable option I'm definitely going to make the switch.

First of all: do the pivot 18 toe piece have the same mount pattern as the pivot 14, because id prefer not to remount my skis.

and second... Would i be able to mount the cast tour base plate on kit on my pre existing drill holed from my pivot 14 toe.

I personally don't really know shit about mounting patterns but i would appreciate some help if anyone has some to give.

I'm not sure I'll have to look into that, I dm'd the page on instagram as soon as it happened to see if i could get some help but was left on read and didnt reply to my questions.

I think trying a companies email might work a little better I think they have a contact thing on thier website

Yes again, you'll just need to drill two extra holes in front of the heel pieces to mount the part that keeps the brakes up when you're going uphill. Cast comes with a pattern for those.

Yup, I did literally this a couple weeks ago. Hooked a highschool kid up with CAST, he had 14's so I pulled his 14 toe and gave him my 18 toe, drilled the holes for the riser block, and he was good to go. Keep in mind that I do believe CAST recommends heli-coiling the toes, so you might as well do that while you're swapping things out. Otherwise, it's a very easy swap. Took like 20 minutes all told.

remember you have pivot 15's avail as well!

the pattern is same for all though.

CAST just shipped my stuff, arrives in 2 days! :D

Just swooping in to say I have 2 short tours on my cast setup so far and love it, there’s really no compromise
