the bindings look like they are worth about 5$ and these skis in used condition are probably worth about 80$. How the fuck is this asshole expecting to sell his garbage to some rabbit for 850$?
I saw an ad on FB for a flat pair of ON3Ps drilled once for 400 bucks. I was like Jesus that is a little steep who does this guy think he is. And then I saw it was Rowen. Price was probably fair tho tbh the used market for those seems to be pretty hot.
I’m assuming that’s priced mostly out of nostalgia for HG and that graphic. I personally would never but I imagine there are people who would pay close to that if they come with pivots too

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say this seems suspicious since most ON3P owners volunteer a lot of information about their skis, often quite freely, and even if we're not selling, to basically anyone that will listen.
Wonder how many postings in this thread are for stolen skis.
FB marketplace is kind of weird that way, I pulled an old subwoofer out of my car years ago and tried to sell it on there got zero responses- re listed it a couple years later for 20 dollars less and people went completely apeshit.
For me getting some ON3Ps is kind of like trying to upgrade to an American strat or a real D28 - I am always looking just got too many bills to pay

lmao I was just bouta post these up..kid dropped em buy $20 to $980. Fuq that price tho, regardless of the HG skis topsheet there is no reason that they should be that price. Them babies should be ridden and not thrown in a closet which is prolly what would happen if someone paid that price for em. It's the same thing as to why some people think their Jskis are worth retail price because they are "one of a kind".
Quite similar to what the last guy showed, these things keep popping up in targeted ads, I have zero idea why, I barely could afford £400 for my last pair of skis. (Those Dior skis actually look really nice, mind boggling price tag though.)
I've skied these and they ski like a beginner sub $450 ski.

Seriously did end of season sales just not happen? And is it me or do product cycles seem all messed up? Like I legit did not see certain 2020-2021 skis on the hill this past season and their next models are already on sale. Those black on black faction prodigy’s are a perfect example.

You are not mistaken. I thought the exact same. A few deals here and there, like the Praxis one, and then some blem ON3Ps and Moments. But overall, I did not see them happen. I think demand is just so high. For example, last year Majesty skis cut their Vandal 3.0 to ~$325. This year, the “on sale” is still $550.
Slope style posted on their story about how demand is huge this year so they delayed the sales.
Maybe the manufacturers also changed the terms/dates for how much can be discounted and when because of 2020 poor sales.

I’m not sure about USA this year because I spent the season in Northern Europe and I saw a ton of new Poachers and Factions. They literally were flying off the shelves. It was insane. I did notice that a lot of models seemed to be more limited on the USA websites. Which is odd because I feel like it’s usually reversed. I felt like I was seeing more inventory and cheaper prices on places like Sport Bittl compared to, say, Evo. CT 1.0 2021s were even 250€ (Like $305) at one point on sport Bittl IN SEASON.
So maybe we got shafted on some shipments or something? I know australia missed a ton of shipments during corona.

It’s covid demand coupled with limited inventory, the fact that supply chains slowed down during covid and the limited chips, etc.
I've actually been hearing quite a bit about boat prices from people I work with and my uncle lol

Sailboats on the other hand are going for peanuts. If I lived in the states right now I absolutely would have bought one this summer.
my GF said I had to sell some skis, so I put some up for 25% over what they cost new just to say I did it, trouble is some people come along and go YES I WANT THEM, I've sold sevral pairs that way..
