Jumps at Holimont

Many of you have noticed this season there has been a distinct lack of any jumps in the Holimont terrain parks this season. There is snow, there is a talented, professional group of experts to build and design jumps, and there are people of all ages and skill levels who would enjoy having jumps in the Holimont terrain parks this season. Last season, people from all over WNY were coming to visit Holimont to experience properly built jumps: a feature missing from most WNY parks.



I had the pleasure of meeting many of these people. Several weekends there were large groups of invited guests enjoying the jumps together: bringing money into the club and a good vibe to the terrain parks. The skiers and snowboarders of Holimont want park jumps. Our incredible, professional park crew wants park jumps. The park community of Holimont and resorts across WNY want park jumps.



The roadblock has been the club management and the club board. It is time to show them that the skiers and snowboarders of WNY see the potential for greatness at Holimont parks. If you want to see some park jumps at Holimont like we saw last season, it’s time to use your voice. Spread the message to your friends. Write Holimont letters, emails. We have the snow. We have the builders. Let’s show Holimont we have the passion and they should too.
