BiffbarfLook nevada
DingoSeanThe look Nevada/Grand Prix was the first binding that really incorperated modern things and allowed true elasticity to function. Ive actually used them on a super old pair of K2 comps and it worked fine. Not the most refined binding however, so Id have to say its maybe the earliest id try, but not the earliest id trust.
Id say something like the Salomon Equipe 747 is maybe the oldest binding id trust to use today in any real semblance. That thing was basically an early version of the driver, and its parts are in some cases compatible with bindings that were on the market just a couple years ago - especially the heel plate. One could essentially throw springs from an STH 16 from 2015 in there, and it would be completely useable so long as it was one of the all-metal ones.
