Urban skiing

MoneyMakerMikeSo basically it snowed in my hometown for the first time this year, and i went out today and hit urban and got some shots. I hit all the natural speed spots i know, but want to hit some other rails without natural speed. Basically just asking if there are any easy ways for speed. Anyone done a ladder drop in or something? I need a quick solution because snow will be gone by Monday most likely.

I’m not sure of anything other than a bungee but those are hard to find. Try having a friend push you or have them pull a rope with you behind. I’m sure other people have solutions but that’s what I’ve got.

If there’s enough snow shovel a little drop in then rollers you can pump super hard for speed if your broke af like me

build a drop in, basically just need a 2x2x6ft platform and a 8ft long ramp, you can smooth the tranny out with snow. This is what everyone did before bungies and winches, it works well and is decently portable if you have a truck. You can make them smaller, like 1x1 just more difficult to use.

i mean not a lot, if i'm gonna have to spend more than 100 I'll just braid shock cord together and make my own bungee

Urban Ski Committee isn’t gonna like me telling you this but imma let you in on a little speed secret they don’t want anyone to know:

1) build setup for feature

2) select drop point from where you want to start

3) place skis 30 feet behind you

4) stand in place then jump as high as you can, tap Rb and then press the Y button and your skis will fly to your feet and then launch you at the feature going Mach 5.

It’s pretty much a glitch in urban skiing so you can’t tell anyone but your most hardcore friends, the secret can’t get out.

this is my drop in ramp made of a ladder I stole, usually it'd be like #$350 for this kind of ladder, but you could figure something else out
