THANOSDOGFARTAfter watching so much of his content I've noticed that he rarely lands forwards. He used to land forwards more like ten years ago but recently around 80% of his jump tricks are landed switch and the majority of his rail tricks. Why is this? I've heard that landing switch is better for your knees. Maybe he only does it for the style. Thoughts?
BradFiAusNzCoCaMy guess would be knees. He was also using the arv86 most of the season because it’s less impact on the knees than the E Dollo (being skinnier). I have a theory that he’s secretly hurting/got some knee issues and that’s why he pulled out of slope (after big air) and that’s why he kept it (relatively) tame in the knuckle huck on his skis.
I know he said the judging was the reason he pulled out but it could be more than 1 reason
hoodcrew15 years of being a pro skier definitely leads to having fucked up knees even on a good year
jwillyhave you seen Jossi land forwards? its for sure the knees
BradFiAusNzCoCaYeah jossi mentioned his jumper knee on dumont podcast. It puts his switch zero spin run in x games more into perspective
snowfinderJumpers knee is no joke, dealt with it for a few year but finally found a workout routine that helps a lot. Amazing what you can find on youtube.
Ebein339What might that workout routine be?? 😅
grantn_He does say he skis like 320 days a season so yeah his legs must be taking a beating
BigPurpleSkiSuitHow can his shins take it moreover

theabortionatorI think he lands switch because he's diving into a new opportunity. The future is blind. He's looking toward it but he's also facing his past, with a sort of reverence to where he's been.
