Where to mount my faction prodigy 2.0s?

I just recently bought a pair of 2021 faction prodigy 2.0s. They have 3 recommended mount points; classic, progressive, and new school. They say the new school mount mount is the best for more of a freestyle ski, but that mount point is around 4.5 cm back from true center. I feel like that is a little far for a freestyle ski. Does anyone know if it would be a bad idea to just have them mounted at 1 or 2 cm behind true center, or should I go with the recommended newschool mount point?

Are you gonna ski park? Mount depends on what kinda skiing you're gonna do but I always mount center

I'd recommend new school although you'd probably be fine up to like -2. Any farther forward than that and they would probably ski a bit funky due to the sidecut and taper.
I have 2020s mounted at the "freestyle" line which I think is the same as your new school line and they ski great for a 60/40 all mountain/park mix

it comes down to what you feel will be best for you, but if you're 70% all mtn, and only 30% park give or take, i think your best bet would be -2.5 or 3 back. -4+ seems a little far for a park mount, but it is the manufacturers rec. so...

I have my poachers mounted at -4.5 and usually ski 50/50 park/all mountain. Last skis were true center and I don't notice a huge difference besides how much easier it is to ski on fresh snow now. Anywhere between 2 and 4.5 should be gucci
