VermontDogFartI can hit flat and up/cannon rails consistently now but im scared of down rails. I have a 12~ foot log at my resort i skinned and sanded to slide and its sort of down but im not hopping on to it im kinda like skiing up then sliding sideways onto it. should i have any reason to think im gonna slip out on a down rail indefinitely?
bmickanyone else scared of hitting new rails because your worried they are sticky or is it just me
KCoCMdoes your park have a mellow down tube? i hit down rail for the first time this season and the thing that helped me work up the courage and get to sliding it was jumping completely over it, then jumping over it doing 180, then jumping over it doing tail taps. the thing i thought about the most when trying to combat slipping out was keeping my lead shoulder low, it helped me keep weight on my front foot. Also, slipping out happens, even after u get used to it you’ll still slip out every now and again
sullivanobrien_my park is being built this week but i doubt it. but when i go to killington that’s were the down rails are and there pretty mellow tbh
