so my local mountain bridger is getting fuckin cold this week. Below zero next 5 and backed out today at 2 degrees and -20 wind chill.

what will make y’all call it quits?

-45C (-47F) here in Alberta with the wind chill. Some resorts are closed for the whole week and others have huge delays for the lifts. Gone in -35C before but definitely not worth it lol

I've skiied through 100 mph winds off of little cloud at 10 degrees with a -whatever wind chill in a hoodie.

Back in my day, I used to hike uphill both ways in -100 degree blizzard weather. I wore boots that made my feet bleed to ski 35 feet of vert on sheer ice. You had to compete with the bears and sabre-tooth cats for time on the mountain
