I typically buy pants from 686. I like them as a company, and their gear is usually pretty legit. The one downside, though, is that as a more snowboard-forward brand their pants don't usually have reinforced cuffs to prevent tears from ski edges.
Last week at Mammoth I was cruising groomers back to the lot when my legs became inexplicably stuck together. Turns out the brake arm of my left binding had perfectly slotted into a tear in the cuff of my right pant leg. I somehow managed to figure out what was going on without bailing (and look like a Jerry on a groomer)...so I guess I know how to monoski now? ;)
