Park City First Timer

Sup dudes. I'll be skiing Park City from Feb 27 - Mar 1 with a few other guys from Reno. We've been all over Tahoe, but this is our first time skiing PC. I'm not a huge park guy, I prefer steeps, deeps, trees, drops, etc. What are some spots on the mountain to explore? Where should I avoid going? From my little bit of research, the Canyons side looks better and less crowded, and the upper lifts look pretty fun.

I imagine the apres scene in PC is pretty slow with the whole global pandemic thing going on. Are any bars worth going to right now? Or are we better off getting hammered by ourselves in the rental?

I'd love some advice!

Main street is still like pretty much open, idk if they still have a curfew but its still ski season there. Dealers choice: crush cans back at the condo or go out. Mask up and shit like that idk. Spots to go ski: Jupiter lift is pretty fun and worth checking out on PC side, 9990, Peak 5 chair, Dream Catcher, and some other spots on the Canyons side have some decent shots and better skiing to go check out.

and yeah please don't go fuck with the sidecountry here. Its been a rough year on our ridgeline.

Appreciate it. Masks and stuff are routine here so we're used to it. And this is for sure an inbounds trip. It's heartbreaking to see the recent avy headlines

My favorite terrain for skiing outside of the park is all off 9990, Iron Mountain, Peak 5, Super Condor, Jupiter Double, and McConkey's. It definitely isn't the most impressive skiing in Utah but if you work for it you can have a blast. It's also fun just to explore because it is such a large area.
