Sounds with skiing

What are styles or genres of music you like with edits or cuts or segments. I really like songs that give a kinda nostalgic feeling and slow ones when done right because they kinda make you feel something. But it has to be done “right”. But a good banger edit to some 90s hip hop will never hurt or mid 2000s r&b

Idk why but I think Busta Rhymes makes some dope music for edits. Look Over Your Shoulder would be sick for a BC segment imo (thinking of like Carnage-esque).

Nah it’s not just you lol sometimes I’ll just be alone and super high on the chair just looking at the mountains thinking “damn, this is fucking amazing, this is the peak of human existence”

i've noticed that depending on what kind of music people listen to, it did, at least it used to, heavily influence gear choice. The boys who listened to edm had bright colored normal fitting kits, and the boys who listened to rap generally just looked like bdog/henny. Obviously isn't 100% accurate, but still pretty neat.

Personally I listened to a lot of rap, and weird indy metal(?) stuff like death from above 1979. Also mickey avalon.

When skiing moguls for some reason I really like Deadmau5- 'Sometimes things get complicated'.

It just kind of goes with the mental game of picking zipper lines and the BPM matches up well.

Aside from that its Pretty Lights all day for me or some of Wickes old IDM Podcasts.

Hell yeah! I don’t listen to headphones skiing though so I am also doing my own music (sometimes I sing out loud sometimes just in my head) and playing air guitar with my poles

Hope you're hanging in there after surgery, dude! Had similar experiences today watching the wind scalp everything in sight at snowbird today. So cool. love watching this mountain weather (in safe settings of course)

Yes always !!! Then every time I listen to that song it brings back the best memories. Feels like I’m right there on that chairlift again
