Anyone else scared of getting new skis?

I have a 2 ski quiver rn, daily drive and pow ski. The atris for the driver and helldorado for pow. I’m worried when I get a new ski (revolt 104) the atris will become obsolete.

Don't hoard skis. If a pair become redundant just sell them or trade them or something.

It happens. It just tells you which skis you really like. Can always keep them and take them out some, sell them, or retire them.

Also, those revolt 104s look so sick. I kinda want to get some since they’re not that expensive in Europe but I have a 102 and 107 underfoot so I can’t justify it 😭

Nah dude. Just get more skis, can’t have too many. The right amount of skis you can have is the number of skis you have+1

I used to be scared of getting new skis. I would only buy one kind of ski because I didn’t want to get skis I would hate. Biggest mistake ever. There’s hardly a bad ski, every ski just does it’s own thing. I always buy used skis because if I hate them I’m not out a lot of money and if I love them I buy a new pair of them the follow season

I agree with this. Every ski is different and it’s fun to try different stuff. I’ve never demoed a pair of skis before buying. I’m a very price-oriented buyer.

New skis usually go like this for me:
1st day - not quite sure how I feel about them
2nd day - start to love them
3rd day - fucking hate them
4th day - start to like them again
5th day - love the skis

I skiied bigass stiff sticks for the past 2 and a half years before I finally realized just how fun other skis are too. Now I have a quiver ranging from butter stick to 127 underfoot big pow ski. Don't be afraid to try new skis, you can usually sell them if you don't like them. Try demos too!

atris and revolt 104 are not very similar, mount points very different, rocker feels different etc.
