First off for everyone saying Henrik should have won, you're wrong. He shouldn't have. Neither of his tricks in Big air ere NBDs. Both have been done by countless people in comp too. Yes the 18 was new for him but not new in comp. Andri won easy, even if I don't like his skiing. Plus take a better look. If you actually look at the slo mo replay and not his Insta clip he raised his ski in the landing. Everyone knows that thats an instant deduction. Always has been.
And for everyone saying its just spin to win and Henrik is keeping it real. You're a a joke. He spun just as much as AHall (16,18) more than ABM (14,16) more than Andri (19,12) and more than Antione (16,14) so thats just a lie. Plus everyone else did it with crazier grabs or rotations.

And another thing. For everyone hating on the no poles and saying Henrik keeping it real with poles. Yup its whack but people out there tryna win. Where was your hate on no poles when Henrik won X big air in Norway in 2016 and 2017 without poles and literally every other competitor in those comps used poles.

No shit judging isn't always on point. I agree Henrik got underscored for his sw 18. Maybe he shoulda got a 43(with the foot up)? Still would kept him in 6th so doesn't matter. It honestly just goes to show that Henrik doesn't know what it feels like to get fucked over by judges like all the other dudes. he usually gets hooked up for the same tricks everyone else does. If everyone else pulled what he did for slope, everytime they got fucked over, there wouldn't be any comps. Its part of being in a judged sport. Shit was soft of him.

And knuckle huck. Obviously a joke. Jesper won. If Henrik was so bummed on the judging then he should stand by what he thinks and give his medal to Jesper. Cause he also knew Jesper won. Its called Kuckle HUCK not butter. You can do what you want.

There are skiers that do amazing things. Andri is an amazing skier who accomplishes amazing things. However he won’t be in any hall or fame. He won’t be a household name like Harlaut or Wallisch or Thovex or Hall. At least not with his current trajectory. There’s a saying that goes: nobody will remember what you did, they will only remember how you made them feel. What makes a great skier isn’t just being good. It means being good in a way that makes those around you and those watching you truly amazed and connected to the athlete in a spiritual way. Harlaut might not have landed a NBD. He may not have done enough to get a podium position. But watching him ski makes me feel true appreciation for the beauty of the art he calls skiing. To me that will always mean more than a medal. Harlaut’s attitude, grace, coordination, and bigger-than-my-body love of life and the sport will always make him more like able than some torpedo on volkls. Andri won the competition, but Henrik will always win the sport in my mind.

eheathI mean winning 2 xgames gold medals and 3 bronzes, in 4 years, and will likely do well in the olympics too... I mean you can downplay his achievements all you want but you guys sure are sour about a skier who's just good at skiing. Andri is 22, he's gonna be around for while, you might as well just learn to put some respect on his skiing or else you're just gonna look silly when he keeps winning shit.

The point of what I was saying is he has yet to touch my, and many others of this community, heart like Henrik has. It’s just two different sides of the same sport. I have respect for anyone out there giving it their all whether they’re sliding a box or they’re landing NBD in the Xgames

These kids already forgot when Tom Wallisch didn't win the US Open without poles despite doing an identical run to Hatveit on the same course who won X-Games gold with poles the week prior and a judge marking on Wally's score sheet, "NO POLES!" as a deducting factor.

If you care about poles or no poles, you're a fucking gaper that deserves zero respect. Its as simple as that.

finderBailing on slopestyle because he was mad about scoring really puts a stain on my impression of the guy. Waist of a precious spot in an already limited in capacity event. You guys remember how mad people were when Shaun White bailed on olympic slope? This is a skiing site and people were enraged. I'd argue Shaun had a much better reason (still a bad one) to bail on slope than Henrik.
