Pivot brakes

so i on one side of one of my skis the brake is like bent at a 45 degree angle, and feels loose, like i can move it mabe a half an inch to either side, which is makeing it a pain to bend back. what should i do?

the age old question. idk, i cut one of my brakes on my pivots a few seasons ago because they kept getting tangled mid air. permanent 50-50 position. pivot brakes are a bitch though.

appreciate the offer but too wide. however if someone has some 95 mil brakes i would be interested. also, if you unscrew the heel piece from the ski to swap brakes, would you then have to drill new holes and remount or could you just thread back into existing holes?

You can use the same threads/holes. just be very careful you do not strip them by screwing them back in to tight. (Once they are secured quit trying to keep screwing them in or you can easily strip the holes.)

Also it is very important to put some epoxy in each hole before you put the screws back in. I'd pick up some 2 park JB weld.

same shit happened to me, lowkey homie, bent that shit back super hard and cranked it and it fixed itself partially, if you try to bend it above and below your edges a lot of times and it still wont go then honestlt just cut it, i know a lot of people who ditched them especially if theyre only your park twigs and you have a separate pow day/big mtn ski

so I just cut it off yesterday... doesn't seem to run away too bad or anything having only one side. might end up getting new breaks eventualy tho.
