Lackluster X Games Slopestyle?

Anyone feel like the vibe of slopestyle was weird? I feel like hella riders were tossing away runs when they had the most minuscule bobbles, more so than they usually would. Maybe has to do with the jam format (which I don't know that I really like honestly). I also feel like the rail section was weirdly small and didn't inspire much creativity.
Obviously things are different this year, maybe had something do with no crowds too. Or maybe it's just me. Thoughts?

I’m pretty sure it was best run counts, minus displaying the scores which is why they were throwing away runs. But I agree the course was bad, also that first quarter pipe hit was stupid it caused so many falls and you couldn’t even go that big.

Course was definitely weird. I only watched the medal runs but looked like no one cleanly stomped a run thru the rail section.

That course was fucked. I’m noticing lately that too many parks make the mistake of putting features too close together. Looks like X made the same mistake. It means if they don’t land perfectly, they are going to not be ready for the next feature.
I feel like I’m always disappointed with the x games slope course though. Like don’t get me wrong, they make great features but they always try to push it a “bit too much” and end up missing the mark
