Uh, like... uh hi, I'm...uh, like, new here. Anybody care to tell waht those mountains are, all I know about them is that there's one called Grouse, and one called Seymore. Any info, advice would be much apricimatated.

grouse has the best park of the 3, seymour has the worst chairs EVER, but pretty good backcountry and a decent park, cypress has a crappy park, a decent halfpipe and ok backcountry

I have a pass to grouse... FAK, I heard that theyre gettin a pro-skier in to cypress to design a new park. So hopefully itll be wicked there. Im patrolling at grouse so Ill be up there all the time. Theres talk of improving the park there but not any big changes, just trying to enforce keeping the beginners off the pro-park

i've talked to Cypress and their park is a courtesy feature on the mount and the only time u'll ever see upgrades is during the busy Christmas season. so yeah, that rumor is bullshit

Yah trust me...they dont like pople jumping there. I grew up there. Myself and a few other skiers were the only ones to try and ge thtme to build some stuff, and I took alot of shit form them,

it's cold enough that if we get precipitation in the lower mainland it'll be snowing up on the mounts. forecast sees sun through monday. even if it snows starting tuesday, i wouldn't see the hills opening 'til maybe friday cuz they gotta do a freak session and train all their staff on the snow.

Most of the staff would be all trained. Just soem parts would need on snow raining. But yah hinestly dont exapect the van mtns opening beofre chrstmas too much
