It's the 2 skip, we're all coming down towards the bottom of the chair where I'm gonna grab my bag and rip to the car. My buddy in front of me throws his pole up and over the hanging slow sign but misses the catch. Here's my time to shine, throw it, up and over looking good and boom snagged by a branch and gets stuck. Our whole group posts up on the cat track and starts throwing sticks at it trying to knock it down. We hit it a few times but only get it more stuck before 2 ski patrollers show up. Patrol is cool af and joins our little party and decides to help us with traffic and then starts throwing sticks themselves. 45 mins later and a bunch of laughs and pole is still in the tree and a 3rd patroller comes through and is so angry at us and especially the other 2 patrollers for helping us. 3rd patroller made us leave and clean up all the sticks on the cat track. What dumb things have you done at the mountain like this
My poles once ripped threw the family zone banner over a cat track last year. Oh and the other week I tried to Ollie a slow sign, like the snowfence ones. Caught my tips just below the top of it and face planted infront of 3 yellow jackets.

I broke one of my poles today, wanna ship me your remaining one so i have a pair again?
No way dude the rescue mission is already being planned! Thinking of tying a rope around something and throwing it up and over the branch and grabbing on from both sides and shaking the branch until it falls

legendary move is to throw your pole over the bridges at deer valley and catch it on the other side. if you fail to throw it over you have to do the climb of defeat up to get your pole
Theres a hotel with a skywalk across a cat track at Schweitzer, it connects the pool and the hotel. Always tried to weave it over the railing and below the roof growing up

skied trees with pole straps attached to wrist, got pole stuck in tree at speed, pole pulled me, crashed into another tree, broke wrist. Said to myself and friends on lift, shit gotto remember to loose the straps before we ski this run.

hahaha we did some sketch run last season, nobody got injured, we are at bottom going for another run.. I say... so maybe call it a day? I've never heard so man yes, so fast.
A few years back my resort had a couple boxes with wood siding. Well I caught my tip on the front, and somehow managed to bust a hole in the wood. My ski released (fortunately) and got stuck inside this box. I was able to retrieve it, but I felt really dumb laying on the lip with my arm inside the box.
