I get out there once, maybe twice a week if work let’s me. I drive 4 and a half hours to get there and usually go alone because nobody want to make that drive. If anybody rips out there lmk, first beer is on me

This incident was really freaking bad. Was there that day watching it happen from the main lift. It was caused by an out of control snowboarder who hit the pipe that caused it to burst. Then one of the J1 lift ops thought someone told them to stop the lift because of the pipe. Whole thing is a huge mess. 4
hospitalized with hypothermia. At the end of the day ski patrol should’ve marked off the pipe that was hit with netting or foam surrounding the pipe

Ski patrol is definitely lacking at beech, goes for the same at other resorts around the area. Seems like it’s not taking as seriously as it should just because it’s east coast

Ski patrol here is ran very backwards. The majority of them are weekend warriors on a power trip.

They should have started the lift to get the people out of it and then lowered them to the ground via rope. Should take less than 10 minutes. Then wait for water to stop and start the lift back up.

Every time me and my fellas have gotten yelled at for skiing out of bounds we bring up the un padded snowguns, pumps, and how where we ski wasn’t marked off
zoinkedJust checked their site and they seem to have a pretty rad setup, they usually have a pretty solid park but haven't been up there since they added a bunch of new features to the park.

Oh nah I was talking about his line in the park, but beech mtn hasn’t said anything about the pipe situation from what I’ve been looking for.
