Recipes or photos. What's the best bread?
M. E. L. T. makes the best grilled cheese I've ever had. A Basin also has an amazing one too

VT_scratchI have never understood people's love for that fake ass processed American cheese. god just the thought of it makes me want to puke. I get it, it's cheap and easy to make a grilled cheese with. but for god sakes, especially if you live in the states, really good cheese is cheap AF (shoutout cabot). Pay the money and get some real cheese and some good bread and make a solid GC.
I can't think of many gc's I've had at establishments to write home about. I like to keep it simple but find most places that sell GC always add extra shit in like bacon or other meat or tomoatoes etc so I never buy them. I like it simple with a vermont sharp cheddar and a big dollop of ketchup on the side...

oldmanskiDont knock this until you try it.......... spread any sort of jam or jelly on top. Like strawberry jam, raspberry, grape jelly, any favorite jam you like. I know, fucking gross right? Try it and report back. It may not be for everyone but it may change the way you eat a grilled cheese from now on.

Rotten_TrumpkinsThat's how the one at A basin is. It's unreal
slitherysnake531the sweet with the savory is amazing. I tend to like grape jelly the most, but I don't mind some jam every now and again

TheMoostafianIf you aren't putting cheese down on the pan so it crisps to the outside of the bread, you're wrong
