I can second this. I've had the fall line glove for years and just got the fall line mitt and my hands sweat in them. worth the $160.
I just ordered a pair of the Flylow Unicorn mitts. Supposed as warm as the hestra fall lines but cheaper. Will report back once I get them out in the cold.
Cool then I'm gonna vote for any leather mitt. Warm af and look badass. Kinco and Wells Lamont will be the best value. I have kinco gloves and they're good on me down to 0F. Mittens by design are warmer so I'm sure the mittens would be more than enough for what you need. Many of them have finger slots inside the mittens, which I do not prefer though. I prefer mittens that allow your fingers to be free inside. Can always wear thin running tech gloves to increase warmth and for using your phone when you take the mittens off.
I'm saying all this as someone who's fingers would regularly go numb in any temp below 25F. I went through so many different brands of gloves and ended up dropping $200 on a pair of 800 fill goose down mittens. Then a few years later people turned me on to kinco gloves and I haven't been happier. My only qualm is that the waterproofing is so well that my sweat doesn't pass through the gloves so I have to dry them usually at night. I only bust out my mittens if I'm skiing - 5 or below but that's like once every few years.

I snatched up a pair based on your review. Worst comes to worst I'm out 50 bucks and can still fall back on my Hestra and Oyuki mitt quiver.
hestra heli for sure, I have a pair that is 10 years old! still awesome, you do need to wash the innerliner from time to time when it turns stiff and starts a life of its own

Bended_ToenailI have a pair of random OR mitts with a glove layer, a mitten layer, and a Goretex outer layer. Warmest shit ever and can literally not get wet.
I have a similar homemade pair, fleece inners with goretex outers in some funky colors and the cuffs go halfway to my elbows so no heat goes out the cuff. On the frostiest Maine days I put kincos inside the goretex layer for ultimate insulation
Ok, wore my Wells-Lamont mitt's today. Treated them with Hestra leather Balm, and baked them. Seriously legit ass mitts. Warmer than my Oyuki, warmer than my Hestra's. I'm buying another pair ASAP.
all the kinko comments are idiotic. great gloves but definitely not the warmest by any stretch. as someone with cold hands all the time I would never recommend kinkos to someone looking for something better than the average.
OP, Hestras are top tier, as well as most high performance level mitts from most brands. Black Diamond makes some great mitts, so does Mountain Hardware and currently I have some Dakine Excursion mitts that are amazingly warm. I've never owned any but Outdoor Research also makes some solid stuff from what I hear. Something to keep an eye out for is Gore-Tex in mittens, makes a significant difference in my experience. If you get any $100+ mitt from any of those brands you won't be disappointed, look around for sales, you can usually find last season's pairs for less
Wore the Flylow Unicorn mitts 2 days in a row down. 1st day high was like 12 degrees with wind chills below 0 and my hands were insanely warm and normally mine are freezing. Today was 1 degree when I took my first lap and by 4 it was 30. Yet again no complaints on being cold although above 20 your hands almost sweat but they are breathable so your not soaking in sweat. Highly highly recommended especially at $60. Won’t buy anything else from now on.
