Boot shell fit

I have been riding atomic hawx 130 size 25 with a sidas customfootbed intuition pro wrap and a booster strap for about 6 years now, great boots I never get shinbang or toe bang and the heel lock is pretty damn good but after 6 seasons on the shell I can definitely feel some looseness to them

I actually bought a backup shell of the hawx because I swore I was never going to ride any other boots because I had issues with boots in the past and these just worked

I bought a pair of head raptor rs140 World Cup rebel boots after trying them on for fun the other day because the flex felt great with the double booster straps they have patented the heads are a 26 though

I was apprehensive to size up but they only had 26 for the heads in stock so I couldn’t try a 25 and the boot fitter said I had a 1.5 cm shell fit in them

i tried to shell fit myself and comparing my hawx to the new heads using a 2cm shim to measure the shell fit I can see that they both have under 2cm behind my heel with the heads having a little bit more room than my hawx length wise should I worry about sizing up?

I feel like the higher cuff on the 26 might be worth the slight amount of extra length in the foot for me and compared to my hawx the volume of the boot is a lot less in the head and it would probably take a lot of work to fit me into a 25 seeing as I am pretty much touching the shell side to side in a shell fit
