eheathYou work for them or something? I didnt even know that resort was open, just saw the cheapest pass for adults is 699 and day tickets are 75? The owners must be burning through capitol right now.
aFrogiscoolno i dont work for them. i just ski there because its the cheapest place to go
eheathI suppose if you live really close itd be worth it, but id rather take a lil drive over to PowMow personally.

theres the link to the mega plan. Good luck with that...
eheathYeah the master plan is sick but will snow still exist when its done?
bob_doleJust went there this weekend to avoid crazy crowds at literally everywhere else. Dope thing is they have an awesome uphill policy that you can tour up during business hours. As we went up top, we noticed the whole new expansion area and were impressed as hell with it. Skied down and hiked up most of the way over there late on Saturday. We had to turn around just below the true top because it was getting dark, but skied some fun runs down on the lower half. Sunday morning early we hit it again and the snow had dried out a bit. On our way up, we chatted with a snowmaking person and they mentioned they were finally opening up the chair at noon. The upper half was all time, with a solid foot of fresh and noone riding the chair yet. Looks like they have the start of some great cut runs already. Next time there is another snowmageddon coming to SLC, the cottonwoods are fucked, and avy danger is through the roof, I'd be super tempted to just go there and tour the resort some more.
Also bonus points, there was a cool rail jam going on while we were hiking, loved the general vibe of the resort and how tiny mom and pop it felt like. Consider me a Nordic Valley fan.
aFrogiscoolyou guys the people that were hiking up with the dog?
bob_doleYeah, that was us. He was on cloud nine all day. We made sure to read the website policies and we couldn't find anything saying you can't do it, he just had to be leashed and kept out of skiers' way.
