FT Drop Kick vs Drop Kick Pro

I currently have a pair of Rossignol all track pro 130s and they’re too stiff/heavy for me (6’3”, 175). I went to my boot fitter and turns out my foot fits well in the full tilt drop kick pro. Its the one with the wrap liner. It looks like the regular drop kick doesn’t have that wrap liner so I’m wondering what the differences are between the two boots.

i think it’s just the liner, but it’s def worth it for the wrap liner

It’s just the liner, however a wrap liner adds quite a bit of stiffness to the boot.

The drop kicks have a normal tongue, but the pro’s have a “wrap around tongue” that means that you can wrap it around your leg so it is snug all around your leg. This means that you are going to be more connected with your skis and boots, this is also a lot more comfortable than a normal tongue. So
I would get the pro’s because they are more comfortable and make you more connected with your skis/boot

The liners in the DK Pro are the wrap liners which add a bit of stiffness to the boot. If you have a narrow calf it can be hard to get it to close all the way around your leg, just FYI. It also has an 8 flex tongue this season (~100 flex). The regular DK has the tongue liner, which tends to hug the shin/calf better but is not as stiff, and has a 6 flex tongue. Hope that helps!

Like everyone else said just the liner is the difference, and the liner does add a noticeable upgrade in snugness, response, and stiffness that is definitely worth it even for a newer skier like myself (especially if you can find it for a deal, I don’t think I’d buy them at full price I got em new for half off)

Wrap Liners are THE BEST imo and it's worth the upgrade. They are different/stiffer than the stock, but they feel different when you're skiing too

Thanks for all the replies, it really helps. I agree the wrap liner seems like a no brainer. This years full tilt colors aren’t my personal favorite, so I guess i’ll wait for a good used deal to come up.
