I fucked my shins

I fucked my shins trying to 3 the big jumps and overshot it pretty bad and now it hurts to walk. Bad shin-bang or should I see a doctor

I’d say try icy hot or arnica ice lotion and some Tylenol, maybe icing and if that doesn’t help maybe see a doctor

Always Ibuprofen (Advil) never acetaminophen (Tylenol) ibuprofen just works better unless you have bleeding or other issues with nsaids. Acetaminophen is toxic af

I currently have real bad shin bang too. Best solution is just to learn to land jumps properly with plenty shin pressure so your shin muscles arent too stressed on landing, although I always seem to get it bad around this time of the season. Just takes time to build up the muscle

Until then tho, just practice switch skiing and landing tricks switch

The weekend I learnt the fronflips in moguls, my shins hurt so bad that I buddies helped me walk to my car at the end. I could feel lumps on my shins for months. It was fine next season
