Best Utah ski resort to work at

My trip to Brighton reminded me how much I enjoy Ut and the SLC area. I want to work and live in some bigger mountains.
I have 4yrs of retail, customer service, rental experience and have been doing basic ski/board tunes for 2 seasons now.
Preferably the resort would operate year round(MTB,hiking etc). I'm not looking for seasonal work.
I'm hoping that with all the experience of the NS crew you'll be able to point in the right direction and more importantly tell where to stay away from.

Woodward Park city is the only one in Utah with a dh park near slc since canyons closed theirs

Yeah I knew Woodward is year round. I want to ride there this summer.

In the Cottonwoods, Snowbird is the only resort that operates year round but I've heard they're not that great to work for. Alta is the best resort to be an employee of. I wouldn't fuck with PC because the skiing blows but that's just my opinion. You could probably get a job at the Deep Powder House. They have 3 locations in Alta and 1 near the mouth of the canyon and the one near the mouth is open year round.

Deer Valley would be fun, they have year round and their biking is known as some of the best around the area.

Yo so I’m actually a lifty at Brighton this season and am loving it. Coworkers are mad chill, management is friendly and reasonable, and the general vibe of the hill is sick. My homie is a lifty at snowbird and I’ve heard that the upper level guys are assholes there (plus the resort is kinda touristy). Deer valley will get you catered lunch from the cafe every day and you get pretty nice pay and shit supposedly. Even as someone with no park experience I’d recommend the fuck outta Brighton it’s hype.

Yeah I dont care if I'm greasing lifts or painting towers during the summer. I just dont want to pack up and move for a seasonal job.
I love skiing and just want to work on industry but preferably on the mountain.

Takes like an average of 4 or more winters on lifts before you're offered position on summer crew. Maybe sooner with building maintenance. Might have luck at the Alta Lodge or Snowpine for year round work.

and is a year round resort
and the best to work for based on my 13 i did

LOL to the nerds that downvotes this, everyone I know that has worked at DV as said it was a great place to work.

PC for biking and skiing and year round stuff, and yeah you dont have to put up with a Vail Resort if you dont want too, tons of year round opportunities that pay way better than that for what its worth.

Solitude seems chill, they have year round work. Snowbird does but it pays like shit tbh, unless you have experience or have been working there for a minute.

For pure skiing? Alta hands down.

Honorable mention: Deer Valley. Alterra has been pretty cool with letting them still operate like they are still owned by the stern family and kinda kept their hands off.

Deer Valley and Solitude seem to favorites. I'll start looking into them. I like the cottonwoods more than the PC area terrain wise.
I liked Brighton in general, seemed pretty chill. Plus I really could run laps on the Milly all day and be happy.

+1, I worked there before Alterra and it was way better than my experiences working for Vail or Alterra.

Working for Woodward PC would have some upsides, like serving SLC locals more than tourists and not dealing with traffic and parking chaos.

Working at woodward would be sick, he'd probably have to be a counselor or something, I think the operational staff there is pretty small.
