Ski without brakes

Unless your skiing in your backyard or something, you will definitely want to have brakes. It’s not fun having the brakes catch, but it’s way less fun having a ski eject and slide down the hill at mock 7 into the lift line. To prevent your brakes from catching you could try bending them up or to the side a bit as long as they don’t interfere with the rest of the ski too much

I'm seriously considering cutting those bitches off and using some leashes. I almost never throw a shoe, maybe 3 -4 times a season. I tell my friends if i die shooting into the trees skiing switch, it was because my brakes hooked together.

I'm thinking of taking them off some older pow skis just to be more hardcore and badass. I have Jester Pros cranked to 18 on them as is if they eject the ski is likely getting stuck where it came off.

Only ejection over the years was hitting a boulder at Blackcomb Glacier and doing a double front flip at full speed.

shops will not mount a binding without brakes. It is possible you could be called out by payroll, but almost 99.99% unlikely to happen. really the only bad things are, it could go down the mountain if it comes off and get lost, or worse hurt someone. also it will be harder to lock them to the other ski while carrying.
