i get suspended for one day and they teach trigonometry and assign 16 questions. i don’t even know how to do trigonometry how the fuck am i expected to do the 16 questions and a worksheet with word problems

it might be hard if your teacher has an inferiority complex stemming from when they had a hard time in calc in hs, and they put trick questions and trivia shit on their tests because they cant deal with the reality they shouldnt be teaching math beyond kindergarten.
but if you have a decent teacher who understands what they are teaching and they try to break things down as easily as possible then its not hard.
the concepts in calc are all very visual and intuitive.
on the other hand fail out courses in college like multivariable calc and organic chemistry are purposely designed to fail as many ppl as possible and they simply dont teach you in lectures what you have to know for the exams. In most college courses all you gotta do is pay attn in class. But not so for failout courses. Fail out courses reward idiots who spend 6 hrs a day studying and 6 hrs sucking the professors and grad students cocks.
lazy geniuses have as little control over their lazyness as hard working idiots have control over their max brainpower. Persecuting lazy ppl with great understanding is the american way though, so get used to it or move to germany where they reward students natural aptitudes.
Most americans dont even view engineering as a noble profession. They think its some sort of fucking business service or something.
One of the biggest reasons engineering isnt as celebrated in america as much as it is in germany is bc in general females suck at it. So engineering in america is called a “boys club” and it gets treated as a fucking sideshow.
in reality engineers should be looked at as being above doctors and lawyers like they are in germany.
I got a 2 week during physics/ calc in grade 12, skipped half of the total days of the semester and managed to pass both of them with plenty of room for error. Definitely not trying to hype myself up here at all considering I never bothered doing any post grad schooling, but seriously if you're this worked up over a single day, and can't work out how to do trig via google, you should probably stop doing shit that'll get you suspended.
In bc if you're caught in possession, admit to being fucked up, or anything under the umbrella of weed, it's a 2 week out of school with mandatory drug counseling iirc. So you're either really, really, quite lucky, or you got caught being a dumbass with a juul.

Yeah i’m lucky that i only got a one day suspension. trig didn’t end up being that hard in the end. it just messed me up that i missed the first lesson and the sub we had after sucked ass at teaching. i know how to do trig now and it’s easy. i do plan on taking things a bit more seriously though.

in regards to the rest of it just chill. As long as you take your courses seriously and don't blatantly smoke weed on school property, no teacher in their right mind is gonna try and fuck you up for being blazed unless it's immediately apparent. Take your classes seriously, and have as much fun as you can around that.
keep in mind most of this is based off of my experience smoking a fucking lot of weed through highschool, and I have no idea if the teachers you have would be as chill as the ones I had. Either way, don't let shit like this work you up too much man, being a stressed out highschooler fucking sucks.
