Hi,
I'm planning to buy K2 Reckoner 102 in either 170 or 177. I'm 5'8 150 and ski 90% park (80% rails, 20% jumps). I currently have K2 Poacher in 177, but they actually measure at 174.5 from tip to tail. According to the Roofbox review the 177 Reckoner measures at 177.1 from tip to tail which sounds a bit long as I ski mostly rails and want to take my skiing into more jib oriented way in the future. I'm going to center mount the Reckoners.
I really like the length of my Poachers but I'm afraid that the extra 2.5cm in length along with the 6mm in width will have negative effect doing swaps and 2s on regular and switch. In the other hand going 4.4cm shorter along with softer flex will negatively affect stability.
I'm probably over thinking and either size will be fine, but I want the best possible ski for my money.
My other option was Völkl Revolt 104 but I've read that it's not as good going switch and I'm also worried about the long-term grinding durability.
Right now I'm leaning more towards the 170, but I'd like to hear your experiences and opinions. Thanks!
