trevin.larsenIm wanting to get a new pair of skis where I can lap the park but also be able to perform well when there are some freshies. I currently ride a pair of Line Blends in the park, I have them center-mounted, but they suck when it comes to some fresh snow. I live up in the PNW and we get snow quite a bit but its usually on the heavier/wet end. Thinking about getting a pair of Vacations and mounting them -2 from center for some versatility, but worried that they will feel too similar to the blends and not last long. My other option is either a pair of Magnus 102 or Jeffrey 102/108, not knowing where to mount. Has anyone had any experience with these skis??
gravelvacas are my current ski and favorite ski. but i have ridden the magnus and that ski is so much fun too. the on3ps are definitely sturdier but not necessarily stiffer. it's been a while since i rode the magnus. the vacas are super nice though, they are stiffer than the blends and definitely can be skied everywhere. idk anything about the jeffrey
trevin.larsenhow do your vacations hold up in fresh snow??
graveli have skied the 181 and the 186 - i'm 6' and like 170 something. the 181 are a little too soft and short for fresh snow but the 186 skis great and is a lot stronger and more reliable. the noses are definitely soft but they are a good stiffness underfoot, like from the mid tip thru the mid tail.
