r00kieDo it, but don't do Breck. Go to a smaller, off the beaten path place, not the biggest place you can find. It will be a way cooler experience for you. Montana's got cool stuff as well as Utah, Idaho, and others. Even other places in Colorado would be awesome like Butte or something.

WoFlowzThe whole US besides a few parts of the pnw is a snow drought
deathcookieWhy don't you go to Canada instead? I feel like that would be a lot easier for someone from the UK, and the skiing will be better.
CornerPetriI applied for a Canadian Work Holiday visa this time last year and still haven't heard back, and the website says they aren't returning enquires. Would like to go, but doesn't appear to be an option, as much as I'd like to go somewhere but Whistler.
eheathReading isnt your strong point eh?
WoFlowzCurrently failing English if that helps with your question
eheathYou heard of covid?
Pretty sure its 10x easier to get a visa for canada than it is for the USA.
larilinesignDude Breckenridge is wild and crazy and fun as fuck. You'd have a blast doing a year there.
Living in Breck is like this total shitshow of bong rips, back flips, chugging liquor, chestbeating, banging tourists, dubstep, and shredding your dick off.
The goddamn American dream.
Get a room in a house with 5 random dudes, get into a couple fistfights, wear steezy outfits, do a dab so big you'll never forget it in your life, see as many shows as possible at Red Rocks, shoot guns in the woods with ya boys, ride every resort you can in Colorado, give up a little skin, and have the mf time of your life.
Suuuure you can have more peace and country love at a more low key spot, but you don't want that. You want to scumbag it up and burn it the fuck down in Breck.
Ain't no where in the world that has crazier locals, so you better be a motherfucker.

SkylineGTR_R32Brighton is still my fav place to ski. Not sure bout their employee housing tho. Park city is a pretty okay place to ski but the town fucking sucks. Your best bet is prolly somewhere on I-70 or like someone mentioned Big Sky. Never been to big sky but I keep hearing amazing things.
eheathBrighton has zero employee housing im pretty sure, park citys town is dope idk what you're talking about, the mountain is by far the least exciting mountain in utah though.

skiP.E.I.Basically impossible to get a visa for non-essential work right now in Canada. The restrictions on entering the country are a lot more stringent than in the States, and there's no sign that will change by next year. Ski resorts are doing everything they can to avoid mandated closures as is. A bunch of Canadian politicians have been fired/ forced to resign after vacations out of country, because they were setting a bad example.
Under normal circumstances, yes it would be easier for him to get a visa in Canada, but not with COVID.
