Depends on ski profile but a daily driver id go 177-185. More rocker id go on the higher end. I’m 5’9 and wouldn’t go less than 179 for most center mounted twins

I would agree with this. I got a 173 center mounted and I’m 5’8. It’s too short even with no taper. My other skis are 177-180 and they work.

I’m only a little heavier and I ski 186s if my skis had no rocker I’d go 180s

BradFiAusNzCoCaI would agree with this. I got a 173 center mounted and I’m 5’8. It’s too short even with no taper. My other skis are 177-180 and they work.


Wait, I'm 5'11" like 155-160 or something and I ski 174. I want to center them sometime soon too... but am I doing something retarded? I don't really feel uncomfortable at all on my length.

The ski will feel shorter when you center mount it. Also, you’ve gotta realize people on newschoolers tend to size up for the type of skiing most people do on this site. Honestly, just center mount them and see. Can always re-mount. What skis are they?

174-181 would be pretty ideal 4 u.

im 5,8 and mostly ride 178-189 but i like a ski that can kick my ass.

Nothing wrong with Rossi. Ski looks pretty solid as long as it’s structurally okay being 10 years old. I say go for it. Easier to learn shorter then get a longer ski. But longer skis are more stable for landings and speed
