Get speed in urban

I want to start skiing urban this winter because the lifts aren't opened, but I struggle to get enough speed to hit the features I want. I saw some people are getting speed with a cord that pull them after you tension it. Does anyone has a link to a cord like this?

Fuck so there is no way I could get a bungee rope? What are the alternatives company?

Yeah i forget the details but Banshee Bungee doesn't sell anymore; people find them secondhand sometimes but idk how viable that is, i haven't checked myself

do you have a certain spot in mind? ideally you have an already existing hill or slope or something you can put snow on to make a slope. if not maybe you can have buddies pole whip you into the rail (friends hold the end of one of your poles each and slingshot/whip you at the rail). if not that you can build a drop-in-- search this site (google site:newschoolers.com + search terms such as drop in ramp build)

you'll also see winches used in movies but those are $$$$$

if you have a certain spot in mind, post a pic and maybe people can offer ideas

Ok OP buckle up I’m gonna teach you a hyper secret way to get speed:

1) find a large open flat area near your rail/ feature

2) get some snow and build a series of speed bumps going around in an oval or rectangle formation

3) skate into the first bump and pump your way around the track slowly getting more speed.


4) pump around the track 5-10 laps depending on speed needed

5) when ready launch out of the track towards your feature and hit it at ludicrous speeds.
