Blister has a good review of the ranger 102 FR where they play with the mount point a fair amount.

They actually arent as different as I thought, they weigh about the same and the wildcat actually has a longer turn radius. I’d say it will mostly come down to what style you prefer to ski, if you want to be doing nose butters and do anything switch regularly and are used to more center mounted skis you will enjoy the wildcat 101 more. If you prefer to ski forwards and don’t plan on doing much playful skiing, and are used to a more traditional mount point you will get along with the ranger more.
