Sliding rails and boxes

Is any one here sliding rails or boxes on Salomon QST 99s or similar skis?
I want to get into some park skiing at my local, but I'm scared of trashing my skis.
Should I just buy some older twins? Or will the QSTs hold up?

Buy some older twins. My friend is in ur same situation he wants to get into park but is looking at a pair of twins to not destroy his all mountains. boxes and rails will trash ur edges for sure

I'm out of that phase with these skis already lol.
Already p-texed a handful of gouges from the thin snow conditions we have here, but I dont want to destroy the edges.

Having an older set of twins also doubles nicely as early season rock skippers.

Already decided that these are next years rock ski, but that means they have to survive this season.
I'm hoping that Salomon comes out with a new top sheet for the QST 106 next year(no outdoor retailer this year to find out early)

you can literally rail slide with race skis or even ski jump skis. Rails always trash your edges. that's just a fact.



If you're scared to smash your "primary" pair and you can afford yourself older twins - then you're better off doing so :)
