Replying to Bad at Rails
Hey all this is my second year doing park things, and I am seriously struggling with rails. I've been skiing for 8-9 years now, but last year I decided to stop being a pussboi and learn 180s and 360s in the spring. Spring didn't really work out, so I'm still roughing out my 360s. I've seriously nutted up over the past weeks and haven't been scared of attempting rails or hitting larger jumps, but I am really struggling. There's a downhill (i think its called) barrel rail about 10" in diameter, at my local park and I've hit it probably 200 times over the last 5 days I was out. Its the easiest rail built on the park, and I've slowly progressed from sliding back on my hips or straight up falling off to kinda just coming off it or straddling it. I know there are threads on this already, but if anyone can provide me with some advice on getting the rail, it would be much appreciated. I only ask because I think this might be a bit difficult of a rail to learn on, so I am going to need more work to get to a successful grind.
