Best freeride poles

Hey NS's I'm already in the market for some new poles this season. My current pair is a set of Black Crow Metas. I've managed to bend one and bust the basket on the other. Some I'm wondering what you all have for recommendations.

Oh yeah and he came in flying and he was all like wooooshhhhh and I was like schhhhhhhh on the ice and then I fellllll and it was like bammmmmm and then I got up and hit him with my pole he bent and the sound of the pole against his helmet could be heard for miles.....

I really like the Atomic Benchetler poles. They're adjustable, have binding tools built in, and the grips mimic mtn bike grips, which I love. Only issue is that they come with powder baskets, don't come with a smaller set for non-pow days, and the smaller ones are really hard to find with the pandemic and all....

Scotts tend to last longer in my experience for park poles. Had some black diamond telescopic poles I liked but fuck black diamond. The integrated screwdrivers in atomics adjustable poles sounds intriguing.

For resort skiing, I have a pair of Scott Team Issues that I've had since like 2007. The leather straps (wish they still made leather straps!) literally wore off, a skier hit me and bent them in half so I made him bend them back, and a dog chewed the grips so I used gorilla tape on them. That was all 8-10 years ago. Still rocking them though.

Best is no poles, but if you must, maybe I could interest you in a super old pair of Goode fiber poles. You can't break them!
I never could. I will never use them again ever. Then again, being vintage, it would be hard to part with them!
Say because Dominator Jacques bought them for $200.00 in 1980, you give me $2,500.00, and they are yours!

theyve been a big controversial in the past... but the only pole that lasts me more than a season are some short panda poles. i crash hard and i crash a lot. literally would thrashing a pair of alu in a day/hours. guess my skiing just needs to improve?? ha

I hope they are not as expensive as when I bought mine! Loved those pole though. Still have them, just don't use them anymore.

Jskis makes some killer poles and they aren’t super expensive and are pretty damn tough. Plus they are the only poles I’ve ever seen with a warranty. If you break them they send you new ones.

I wasnt a fan of my Panda Poles at all. The grip is too thick for my liking and they're pretty heavy compared to aluminum with the bamboo and large solid plastic basket/tip unit. Then the basket/tip thing broke off. Not for me personally.
I had a pair of K2 composite poles that I loved but the tip started to splinter apart after ~5 seasons.

I have had Scott Team Issue and RS-18 poles forever. I've bent a few, and just ordered new ones. The SRS (safety release strap) has def saved me from a few injuries, since it can release in both up- and downward directions. 10/10 recommend
